At the Pool

A few days before leaving Houston, we spent a few hours chillin' at the 'hood pool. The kids absolutely love it when Jerry comes to the pool. Instead of just floating around in the water like me, occasionally catching a jumping baby, Jerry gets all into it.

All the other dads at the pool hate him. "Who invited this active, good looking, involved dad to the pool? Now I've got to get in and play with my kids!"

But not all dads can do this with their kids. That's OK. Not all dads need to. Don't let Jerry make you feel guilty for not playing with your children. There are many types of dads out there.

What you can't see it that Jerry squatted down and launched Josh up into the air. Again, not all dads need to be able to do this. Besides, Josh is a thin little thing, easily launched into the air.

Now, some of you dads may be feeling kind of bad by now. Paige is not a light little thing. She's quite stout and a giant walking muscle. Jerry makes it seem very easy as he lifts her into the air for the one thousandth time, and...

...launches the muscle rocket into the sky!

Wow! Did you see that, mommy?

Don't tell the other dads, honey, but I'm tired. Bone, doggone tired.
